Is anyone else excited that it’s March? Although spring is still a few weeks away, I’ve already swapped my winter coats for some lighter jackets! Over the February break, my family and I spent a few days in New York City. We were very lucky to have had amazing weather for our trip. While we were ice skating in Central Park, the temperature hit 77 degrees! Those who fell became completely saturated by the puddles created by the melting ice. The sunny weather also inspired a little shopping trip on Fifth Avenue. Whenever I am in the city, I make an effort to visit Zara’s flagship store on Fifth Avenue between 52nd and 53rd Street. It is 32,000 square feet of fashion goodness! They carry more merchandise than can be found in its regular chain stores. It’s pretty impossible to walk in there and leave without spending more than you had planned. This store is definitely my shopping weakness!

Zara has so many gorgeous tweed jackets right now that it was so hard to decide which one to get! Tweed jackets add instant class to any outfit. I ended up walking out of Zara with two great tweed jackets: one that embodies the Americana trend with a bit of glam and the other which gives off Jackie O vibes with a fun, fringe flair.
