As I sit here writing this ‘Springy’ blog post, we were just hit with our 4th Nor’easter yesterday here on Long Island! I know the old saying, “March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb,” but geezs this is like a pride of lions lol! Between school delays and closures, trying to keep everything together with our families and keeping our students focused (lol) in between all of this crazy weather and off days, we are trying REALLY hard to integrate spring into our everyday wear on top of it all. I have to tell ya, I am tired of my boots, sweaters, heavy winter coats and everything winter right now. UGH… How about you guys? Are you still liking the cold or are you ready to move forward to spring with us? Alright, just needed to get that out. I feel better now – lol!
So as you may have already guessed, I love floral and flowy dresses for spring and summer. Don’t get me wrong, I love my LBD too, but there is something about floral that SCREAMS spring. The dress I choose to feature in this post gives me that feeling. It is a water color floral design, flowy, and has pockets… need I say more. I will be wearing this dress to my kiddies Communion;) But besides the dress I am featuring, I wanted to share some favorites that I have come across over the last couple of weeks. Do I want them all? Of course! Lauren and I have been watching the latest trends, so we decided to categorize the dresses into the following: Floral, Bold and Bright and Back to Basics. Enjoy!
Please leave us comments on your favorites. We would love to hear your thoughts and what you are loving this spring season. XOXO
Floral
Mixture of small and large floral patterns and varying lengths. Something for everyone:)
Bold and Bright
I used to be afraid of bright colors but, I am embracing adding color to my life and my wardrobe. Bright colors were all over the runways from NY to Milan.
Back to Basics
The classics are timeless! I own both Leith dresses below and am planning on purchasing the revolve dress. I have to say the Leith shift and tank dress you will absolutely love! They are so flattering and great for many different body types.
