I just can’t believe it’s December already! I literally turned around and the year is almost over… CRAZY. This month is going to be a whirlwind for my family and I because not only are the holidays quickly approaching, my daughter’s birthday is next week and we have family flying in from overseas. So many exciting events, but so little time to prepare. Story of my life – lol. So, when Lauren and I were thinking about blog posts over the last couple of weeks we wanted to include gift guides to give you all a few ideas to make holiday shopping a tad easier 😉
Let’s be honest, shopping for men is not an easy task. Am I wrong? I try to be creative, but sometimes I just can’t come up with anything. When I was thinking about this guide, I thought about gifts I bought in the past and ideas my husband has subtly dropped over the last few months. Sorry in advance for all the hubby references below, but the items were mostly inspired by him – lol. Hence, our idea for Gift Guide – Male edition. Below you will find some of our favorite gift ideas that will make any man in your life a happy camper…well, at least we think so!
1.) “Catch All” Valet – Great gift idea for the man in your life. I bought this Pottery Barn Valet for my husband a few years ago and he really loves this simple and functional item. This valet can be used to keep watches, cuff links, a small wallet and even some loose dollars or change all in one place. It looks really nice on the dresser and can even be personalized! There are various sizes, so I have linked a few different types below, which are all currently on sale!
2.) Yeti Rambler / Water Bottle – We are both completely obsessed with his Yeti coffee rambler and water bottle. On many occasions, my husband has come home from work and purposely called me over to show me ice cubes, yes ice cubes. Why you ask… well, you see the ice cubes are still in the bottle from the morning, which amazes my husband. I must admit they are pretty cool and I have a pink one on my Christmas list 😉 I’ve included a few different variations below. (The water bottle in currently 25% off)
3.) Fitbit Ionic – This a pretty awesome watch. Fitbit has really stepped up their game. This watch is not your ordinary fitness monitors, it goes beyond footsteps and heart rate. The Ionic acts more like your fitness coach and helps you reach your personal fitness milestones and goals. It has built-in GPS, gives insights about your sleeping patterns, stores and plays your favorite music, apps to make payment… the list goes on and on. So if you are looking for the ultimate sports combined with a smartwatch, look no further. This is a little on the pricey side but if the special man in your like is into athletics or just new technology, here it is.
4.) Harry’s Razors – My husband swears by these razors. I actually just asked him if he would highly recommend them and he said… YES, the razors come right to the house. The initial order arrives (as a trial) with the a razor and the handle. Then, if you would like, you may set up delivery of your razors every two-three months! However if you do not want to order online, no problem, they are available at Target! Don’t you just love options. Ladies, this is a great stocking stuffer or just a little something extra for the holiday! The men in your life will thank you 🙂
5.) Herschel Duffel Bag – This brand has been around for quite sometime and makes durable and quality bags. My husband has been hinting at a travel duffel bag for quite some time and he came across this particular one recently. They come in a variety of sizes and colors and are perfect for weekend trips or any type of travel. This might end up under the tree this year! (I have included a few styles and size variations for your shopping convenience:)
6.) Patagonia Fleece – I used to call this company Pata’gucci’ because of how much one fleece costs – haha. However this is hands down, his FAVORITE fleece ever. My husband wears this the minute it gets cold and uses for a variety of reasons throughout the fall/winter. It is really perfect for going to work, running errands on the weekends or even on the slopes, where it’s really cold! The fleece I linked below is his favorite and he has been dropping hints about the vest. They come in a variety of colors and are available as a half zip or full zip fleece and of course a vest.
7.) UNTUCKit – If your man likes to leave their shirt ‘untucked’ (like mine does) this clothing line is for him! This company makes button downs, sweaters, tees, jackets and more that are just the right length! Say goodbye to the long button down that just doesn’t look right or that tee shirt that’s just too long to go under that sweater. UNTUCKit offers free shipping and returns and 20% discount code when you provide an email! Go ahead and give it a try… my hubby has become a believer.
*My husband is wearing the UNTUCKit button down in the picture at the top and bottom of the page. Click on UNTUCKit in the above description to go directly to the site*
8.) Jack Spade Wallet– This the perfect wallet for men. It has multiple slots for credit cards as well as a section for cash. What makes this a great gift? It’s thin, small and holds the essentials. Let’s face it ladies, we carry everything else! This particular wallet is leather but there are other material options that are equally as fun. Makes a great gift to throw in a stocking! See below for
9.) Gage Sunglasses – Long Island based company that make a great pair of sunglasses.
My husband first found them online and ordered his first pair… then his second and third pair. Super affordable, variety of colors/shades and also are available polarized. Most of these awesome sunnies are under $50! They are currently running promotions for the holidays up to 40% their entire collection. Check them out as I am confident you will also love them for your significant other or for you 😉

10.) J.Crew Buffalo Check – It wouldn’t be me if I didn’t include something from J.Crew. Not sure if I converted my husband to this store or he naturally gravitated there because of me. J.Crews’ fall/winter collection always includes fabulous flannels (lightweight and heavyweight material) for men. This year the buffalo check is everywhere and the mens shirt collection has a really nice selection and different colors from which to choose. So if clothes are on the list check out links below to shop a few of the styles.
