So anyone who follows any fashion blogger has been hearing about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for weeks now. It’s a huge event that allows shoppers to preview fall trends and purchase items at awesome discounts. Items always sell out quickly, so you have to act fast. Today we are sharing a few of our favorite purchases from the event, which runs until August 6. We decided to highlight our purchases that are still available, although we did buy some things that are currently sold out. (Hopefully those items will be restocked soon!) Nordstrom always offers free shipping and returns, so you’re essentially shopping risk-free!
Red is known as the “power” color and is going to be a popular trend this fall. This crossbody bag is a perfect size and very well made. It’s originally almost $300! The nubuck leather is super soft and smooth. The stitching that goes around the bag is superbly done. This bag really shows ALLSAINTS’ quality workmanship.
A popular shoe trend this fall is the v-shaped topline. We’ve shown these shoes above in a previous post about LBDs, but they are so amazing that we had to show them again! They are extremely comfortable and perfect to go from the office (or classroom!) to happy hour. The v-shaped topline has a different, sleek look from the traditional pump and adds to the comfort of this shoe. It’s available in three different colors and is sold EXCLUSIVELY at Nordstrom. Can you tell we are loving this v-shaped topline trend? This ankle strap sandal is another one of our favorite purchases from the Nordstrom sale. It’s a great transitional piece that can be worn from the summer to fall. The stacked horseshoe heel adds to the comfort and design of the shoe. You can walk for miles or dance all night in these!
We are in love with these booties. They are a perfect complement to any outfit from work to weekend. These particular shoes are by one of our favorite designers, Vince Camuto.
They are super comfortable, have a low heel, and are on trend. We especially love the perforations, stitch detail, and split opening at the ankle. The lower stacked heel provides that extra comfort for gals on the go and working mommies. This bootie looks great with a dress or jeans – a very versatile shoe. They come in 3 neutral tone colors that are truly a fall essential and are currently under $100 during the Nordstrom sale!
Another one of our favorite brands is Caslon. The material on this blazer is beyond soft! It is lightweight and perfect to throw on during the in between weather stage. You guys know what we’re talking about… the period of time around October where it’s not warm enough to not to wear a jacket, but not cold enough to break out the puffy jacket lol! This is by far one of the best purchases from the sale. It literally can work with any outfit and has a professional look, but still on trend.
Caslon also makes a knit moto jacket. Need we say more about this? The ‘moto’ look is all the rage these days and will be a staple look for the fall. This piece is comfortable and can also be worn for the in between weather period as well. Sweater material and trendy, yes please! Both looks are currently under $60… run because these items are going fast! (Halogen also makes a similar moto sweater jacket:)) You really do not want to miss these great pieces from this sale.
