We both love the summer. As teachers, we are very fortunate to have summers off to spend time with our families and recharge our batteries. Living on Long Island, you are never far from a beautiful beach and great waterfront restaurants! Although once in a while we venture off the island, most of our days is spent right here. We definitely had an amazing summer, but as the cooler nights roll in, we can’t help but think about the fall and all its coziness. The beautiful colors that mother nature brings, fall festivals, pumpkin spiced lattes, football season (well, not so cozy, but being in sweats is!), homemade apple pie… Fall is also our favorite season for fashion.
A great piece to wear in this transition period and thereafter is a cardigan. Duh, right? Today, we are sharing some of our favorite cute and cozy cardigans that we’ll be rocking all the time this fall!
This circle cardigan just might be my favorite for this fall! It was part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, but sold out so quickly! Luckily, it’s been restocked and comes in three different colors. It is seriously soft and comfy! I love the slouchy look of it and…it has pockets! This tan color is a perfect neutral tone, making this a great cardigan to throw over anything! Here, we threw it over a basic white tee and a pair of high-rise ripped jeans. By the way, these jeans are only $44 and are so flattering!
This cardigan also works great over our favorite t-shirt dress, which is under $30! It looks cute with just about any pair of shoes.
Bringing back this comfy textured A&F cardigan because it is that good! Love how this cardi has deep pockets and can easily be worn with a dress or jeans. Oooppps A&F has done it again. (Sorry… I couldn’t resist 😉 We styled this amazing patterned cardigan two ways to show its versatility. Let’s be honest, a good pair of ripped jeans really goes with anything, but throw a cardigan on and it really completes the outfit. We love the color of this one. It has brown and green undertones with pops of off white and violet. It also is available with beige as the base color. We simply added a basic white tee to round off this low key casual look.

This long boyfriend cardi is perfect to wear with jeans for a casual outing or in this case, faux-leather pants for a night out! I decided to wear this over all black (which is actually a go-to of mine) to break it up a bit and of course, to keep warm. It felt like a cozy blanket was wrapped around me! The two-toned material is so soft and I love that the wide, oversized v-neck gives the cardigan a dropped shoulder look.
